2009 Post-event update:
2009 marked the 10th anniversary of PCC's Fall Charity Fun Runs and it had to be one of the best ever. We really got a break with the weather and it made for a wonderful day with a great group of people, driving their really cool cars on some fantastic roads while enjoying spectacular fall scenary, capped by a fabulous dinner at the Osceola Mill.
We had a total of 22 cars and 40 people that participated this year. We also had four people that wanted to join us, but for various reasons could not, yet still graciously made a donation to our fund raising efforts for the UVa Medical Center for Parkinson's Disease Research. A big "thank you" to each of you as well. Between the member contributions and a generous donation from Kevin and Kim Daly, the Osceola Mill proprietors and our hosts for dinner, we raised $620 this year all of which will be donated. Special thanks to Audi of America for hosting those who started the morning caravan from the DC area to Harrisonburg, providing coffee, donuts, and gift DVDs.
Photos of the event have been posted on the chapter Flickr area.
